Washing your hair is essential, but you still need to find the right balance. Washing your hair too often can unbalance your scalp. Washing your hair too frequently removes the natural protective sebum, whichdries out the hair fiberand makes the scalp more sensitive to irritation and itching.
Conversely, spacing out shampoos too far can suffocate the hair fiber, promote the accumulation of residue, and thus accelerate thehair loss. Oily roots, itching and a "heavy hair" effect can also result.
What pace should I adopt?
- For oily hair: washing every two days is recommended.
- For normal to dry hair: shampooing every three days is generally sufficient.
Ideally, you should use a gentle shampoo, suited to your hair type, to preserve the scalp's natural balance.
