WHEN TO USE IT?
The universal detangling brush can be used on dry or wet hair, in the morning to style and detangle but also in the evening to remove impurities accumulated during the day. It is the brush preferred by parents for simple, effective and tantrum-free detangling.

Using excessive and direct heat on our brushes with nylon bristles is not recommended. To preserve their quality, keep your brush away from your hair dryer and use it with minimal heat.

The universal detangling hairbrush is made in France with local and trusted partners.

The different components of the brush:

- The handle is made of French beech wood, from sustainably managed forests and controlled sources. The wood is then cut and transformed into a handle 50 km from our location.
- The 100% recyclable cardboard packaging is manufactured in the south of France and comes from sustainably managed forests.
- The pretty mother-of-pearl bio-resin disc comes from an authentic clothing button manufacturer in the Jura region.
- The natural rubber base and nylon bristles are currently manufactured and assembled abroad by our long-standing suppliers, due to a lack of equivalent quality expertise in France.
- The brush is then hand-assembled by people with disabilities 30 km from our premises.

The 2 hairbrush sizes:

- The large size measures 22 cm long; it is a classic size suitable for adults and long hair.
- The small size measures 18.5 cm long; it is designed for short hair, children, or for travel.

The universal detangling brush is 100% vegan.

How to care for and maintain my hairbrush?
To clean your Bachca brush, start by removing all hair caught between the bristles.
- Then use a dollop of gentle shampoo, rub gently, and rinse thoroughly.
- Let your brush dry on a clean cloth, bristles down, for approximately one day.

Pourquoi avoir développer cette gamme made in France ?

In 2016, when Camille de Bascher, the founder of Bachca, launched her range of hairbrushes, she had the idea of having them made in France. However, the design and labor constraints did not allow her to envision a range at a price accessible to everyone (the brushes would have cost over €100 at the time!). She therefore chose to work with her Chinese partners, whom she had visited many times during her previous positions, and who offered to manufacture Bachca brushes with a very high-quality result and at a fair price.

However, in 2022 things changed: through hard work, Camille developed a design that adapted to the constraints of Made in France and found partners who understood Bachca's pricing objectives. This is how Bachca's Made in France range came into being!

What is the difference with Bachca brushes made in China?

The range manufactured in China consists of 6 bestselling hairbrushes, all of which have a more or less identical counterpart in the new Made in France range.

The Care & Shine brushes are the equivalent of the detangling and shine brushes, and the Universal Detangling brushes are the equivalent of the detangling and volume brushes. The only difference for these brushes will be in the handle design, which is straighter and lighter for the Made in France version. The Made in France brushes are also entirely made of raw wood, without paint, for better resistance to humidity.

The Made in France round blow-dry brush is more effective than the Chinese-made version because, thanks to the added nylon bristles, it penetrates the hair better and grips it more effectively.

The Made in France baby care brush is even softer than the fine and fragile hair brush. The choice of goat bristles versus boar bristles allows for styling and arranging hair with incomparable softness. However, this brush is less detangling than the boar version.

How do I maintain my brush?

It is essential to care for your brush so that it lasts for years (some of our customers still have their brushes from 2016).

Regularly (ideally monthly), clean your brush as described below.

First, remove all hair from your brush.

Next, apply a small amount of mild shampoo to the rubber cushion and bristles, rub gently, and rinse.

Finally, dry your brush on a clean cloth with the bristles facing down for 24 hours.
