This success was not a road without pitfalls. It took nearlyeight yearsof effort and perseverance to achieve this result. The journey has been marked by moments of doubt, unsuccessful attempts and returns to square one, but also by meetings with local artisans who share our values. We have taken the time to rediscover a unique know-how and to adapt our requirements to local production constraints, while keeping in mind a clear mission: to offer quality products that respect both the environment and hair, without sacrificing the DNA of Bachca, which offers beautiful everyday objects.

20 years of expertise in brush design

At the head of this project,Camille de Bascher, an expert in the hairbrush industry since 2004. With her experience in the field, Camille spent her early years designing products that, although effective, were not in line with her ecological and aesthetic values. It was in 2016 that she decided to launch the Bachca brand, with the ambition of creating a range of brushes that combined bothefficiency, design and respect for the environment.

Bachca's mission is to design hairbrushes that address all hair issues, while respecting the integrity of the hair and providing a pleasant brushing experience. Each type of brush is designed to meet a specific need, ensuring aeffective, painless brushing,which preserves and enhances the hair.

The Bachca range of brushes made in France consists of five models: the universal detangling brush, the care and shine brush, both in small and large formats, and the baby care brush.

The universal detangling brush

The universal detangling brush is designed fordetangle all hair types, whether they are fine, thick, curly, or straight. It is equipped withflexible nylon pinswhich allow you to gently detangle, without pulling or breaking hair, even the most tangled. Thanks to its ergonomic design and sleek design, this brush allows for effective detangling while respecting the hair fiber.

This brush is particularly suitable for hair that tends to tangle easily, and its regular use helps reduce breakage and preserve the health of the hair in the long term. Its design, both functional and elegant, makes it an essential accessory in the daily hair routine.

The care and shine brush

The care and shine brush is the ideal ally for those looking to enhance their hair by giving it amaximum shine. Equipped withboar bristle spikes, this brush evenly distributes the scalp's natural sebum throughout the hair, nourishing the hair and giving it a natural shine.

Its gentle, revitalizing action also helps smooth hair scales, leaving hair shiny and silky. In addition to making hair brighter, this brush stimulates the scalp, promoting better blood circulation, which can contribute to healthier hair growth.

The baby care brush

An optimized and eco-responsible design

In order to guarantee quality brushes at an affordable price, we have also redesigned the design of our products. The design of our brushes is intended to be refined, with simple and modern lines, while remaining functional. Each brush is made fromFrench beech wood, both robust and lightweight, which guarantees a long service life and optimal comfort of use.

The handle of each brush is decorated with abioresin pellet, an environmentally friendly material, located at the base of the handle. This aesthetic detail, in addition to adding an elegant touch, reflects our commitment to sustainability and ecology.

Trusted partners for local production

The success of our relocation project also relies on solid partnerships with French manufacturers and suppliers. We have chosen to work with local partners, located near our offices and our production workshop, in order to reduce our carbon footprint and favor local and responsible production.

The handles of our hairbrushes are made just 50 kilometers from our workshop in Nantes. Once the handles are produced, the brushes are then assembled 10 kilometers from our premises. By choosing to work with local artisans, we have not only chosen proximity, but also quality.

All components of our brushes, such as the packaging and the bioresin pad, are also manufactured in France, with the exception of the pneumatic part and the pins, which are imported from our historical suppliers abroad. This exception is due to the absence of suppliers in France capable of providing the same quality for these elements.

Since the creation of Bachca, we have always defended the idea that quality products should not be synonymous with exorbitant prices. We firmly believe that theMade in Franceis both a societal and ecological choice, but we refuse to do so at the expense of our customers' wallets. This is why we are committed to offering our products at afair price,accessible to all, without compromising on quality.

For this, we have worked hard foroptimize our production costs. We have simplified our processes, chosen sustainable but affordable materials, andreduces our margins to a minimum, while maintaining our quality standards. This allows us to offer you high quality hairbrushes at a price that remains reasonable.

The accessibility of our products does not mean compromising on effectiveness. Each brush is designed to meet the specific needs of each hair type, while ensuring comfort of use and maximum respect for the scalp. We believe that everyone, regardless of their hair type, should be able to access quality products to take care of their hair without having to pay the high price.
